This site is mostly about VMware and aims to share solutions to the real-life problems that we face in providing a reliable and trustworthy infrastructure that we can be proud to be a part of.
Every website should have a reason to exist
I’ve spent years using the internet as a free resource, and hopefully now by giving something back to the community, this will redress the balance.
Most of the posts will be relevant to challenges faced providing infrastructure operations and engineering support in production environments (Windows Server and VMware). In these environments I have been fortunate to work alongside some highly capable individuals and be exposed to cutting edge enterprise technologies.
Community

In addition to this site, you will find me active in the VMware communities where I share my own experiences and learn from others. Thanks for visiting, and hope to see you again!
Feedback and comments on any of my posts are welcome as the content will only be useful to others if it is both concise and factually correct.

Hi Jon, I came across some nice graphs you made with Iometer results using Excel, https://communities.vmware.com/message/2349643#2349643.
Could you maybe share how you did this?
I’ve ran some tests and got the CVS output, but I don’t know how to format them nicely.
Thanks in advance.
Hi TJ,
I used Excel pivot tables, so should be easy to replicate for any other access specifications. Send me your CSV file and I’ll send you back an excel template with all the graphs 🙂
Cheers,
Jon
